Class "A" Teaching Professional
Pam brings exceptional patience and enthusiasm on the lesson tee along with an unwavering commitment to the success of her students. Her knowledge of the fundamentals for creating consistent, repeatable and rhythmic swings as well as her ability to communicate that knowledge in a simple, effective manner is valuable with beginner, intermediate, and junior golfers.
Pam graduated from United States International University, (USIU, San Diego, California), BA in Business Administration and Physical Education. Pam was a scholarship golfer. During her university days she was awarded rookie of the year and champion of many National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Golf Tournaments. For over two decades Pam was the principal Golf Professional at The Canadian Golf and Country Club, Ottawa, Ontario. Her teaching experience also includes being the Golf Professional at the Marriott’s Bay Point Resort in Panama City, Florida.
Pam successfully participated in many LPGA National Teaching Programs and LPGA tour events. In 2009, Pam was honored by being selected to be an instructor for the Women’s Solheim Cup, “Best of the Best in Women’s Golf”, Chicago, Illinois.
It is Pam’s mission to be an outstanding teaching professional from her past experiences as a successful amateur player and to her continuous commitment to her professional development fostered by the ladies professional golf association and the world golf organizations. Several of Pam’s mentors include Mary Dagreadt (LPGA Teacher of the Year and recently inducted into the LPGA Hall Of Fame), Dr. Barb Smith (LPGA Coach of the Year), and Bob Toski (PGA Golf Legend). Two people that have influenced Pam’s love for teaching and the game of golf are Jane Blalock and Dr. De De Owens.
